Hey I'm wanting to build a 4.8 stroker with an edelbrock head for my 99 xj. I have everything squared away engine side what about the computer/sensors/electronics side? Will I need a different fuel pump?

The stock fuel pump will do fine. For ECU tuning, contact

Is Chris still in business? I have tried to contact via email about two weeks ago and I never heard back from him.

Chris is still doing the tuning. I talked to him a few weeks back. I know he's been real busy.
If you don't hear back from him in a few days, shoot me an email and I'll try light a fire under him.

The displacement using a standard 258 crank and a cylinder overbore of 0.060" is 4657cc. Even if you overbore +0.080" the displacement comes to 4705cc (4.7L) so the only way you'll get 4.8L is with an offset-ground crank to increase the stroke beyond 3.895".

In my opinion The most practical cost-efficient big Stroker build that I've done was a
4.74L / 289.29CI.
That's a combination based off a shelf 3.895 stroke Scat crank, and a set of my 3.970 bore Pistons.
We had it on the chassis Dino last month and still working on some fuel and ignition issues, but still managed to
pick up over 25 MPH across the lake bed from his previous race engine and my competitor, and ended up
winning the EMC stock class at this years KOH.
