3.8L V6 Stroker ?

This site is mostly about the inline 4.0L based strokers, but a JeepStroker is a JeepStroker.

Having said that, the 3.8L V6 found in the '07-'11 JKs are getting old and these JKs are getting cheaper. Most are high mileage and soon will be requiring a new rebuilt engine.

So what is available for this 3.8L?

505 has/had a kit. Questionable shop reliability and engine build quality.

I'm thinking a mild stroker build similar to what is being done to the 4.0s.

-Crank- stroker or offset ground
-Rods- upgraded, need to work with chosen crank
-Pistons- custom forged, tighter quench, slightly higher compression
-Cam- mild replacement hydraulic roller
-Heads- rebuilt, ported, big valve, mild valve springs for valve train reliability
-Headers- short or long tube
-Viper Throttle Body
-Tune- SCT or Diablo

Any ideas or thoughts?

Here's the Hesco stroker kit for the JK 3.8.
