Sure has been quite here lately. Anybody up to anything good ?
After a number of upgrades and improvements to my YJ as a whole I have come to the conclusion that changing to JTEC and using a programmed ECM that matches my setup is the next step. The tweaked SBEC makes it run decent but I know not optimum. Plenty of room for improvement in a number of different areas.
FWIW, for those running SBEC the 96 JTEC XJ harness keeps all the same sensor connectors as the SBEC.
In fact, the architecture of the SBEC to JTEC engine control is so close you could actually add the JTEC protocol using the SBEC harness by repining the SBEC or for the lazy cut and splice the wires..
