Anyone have a few minutes to take a look at my CR calculator results and discuss? I've done some reading, but I still cant wrap my head around the importance of keeping quench near .040. I'm looking at a 4.6 build with some parts that I was able to get cheap. .040 mahle pistons with a factor 13.7 cc dish. I'm trying to keep this on the cheap side and would rather not pay to have the pistons dished out more. With 9.81 SCR. 7.8 DCR and a quench of .0725 am I asking for trouble? Not really worried about running 91/93 in it. This is a camping/wheeling vehicle, not a DD.
