That is pretty close. Of course, there is room for improvement. Using the injectors I have now (probably going to change) it's at +35% long term. Don't pay much attention to short term as is just changes too much. The long term is the one that you should pay the most attention to. besides watching the trims do you have a wideband?

Oh yeah.. do you remember the part number on your injectors?

update.....
driving the GC 60 miles per day in the heat of the summer. I have had not engine knock on standard gas, no problems what so ever. Mileage is still low, I am guessing about 16 mpg, but it is driven hard. Need new tires and shocks and anti-sway to really get it right...input on shocks? I was thinking Bilstein HD, but have only done limited research...

You're alive! I swear by Bilsteins and Addcos(dunno if they make them for the GC, but check them out). You get both of those and you'll be amazed at how much better the handling is.

Addco makes sway bars for the XJ, ZJ and WJ. They made an incredible difference on out 2004 WJ. As for shocks I would either go with Bilstein or the stiffer OMEs. I think there are also adjustable shocks available for the grands that I have heard good things about.. think MX6?

I run the Bilstein's on two Jeeps, First choice for me. My wife says the lifted TJ rides better than it did stock. She is not the jeeper in the family either.

I am alive. I moved into a new house and spent the majority of the summer with two mortgages and not sattelite tv or internet. But I am now back in the land of the living...woo hoo. I have looked at the addco sway and it seems the way to go. Bilsteins aren't that expensive either...with the Addco, u think front and rear, or is rear enough? does the thicker diameter bar affect articulation offroad?

I would do the front first then the rear. Yes they will take away some articulation off road. You can always get front quick disconnects.

I put a 1" Addco bar on the rear of my WJ with the 3"lift . Worked well.

I know this sounds crazy ,but with my 5" lift (long arm) I run no rear bar. I have a little more body roll, but I can just about drop a rear spring out flexing it.

If you have problems finding part # for bilsteins, get a hold of Iron Rock Offroad. I worked with them when I built my long arm setup. They really know what works on WJs. I got my bilsteins from them and they work good for me.

Thanks for the update. Glad to hear the pistons are going strong! Not many updates lately on the pistons I've dished, I guess no news is good news.

Update...

First things first, get your pistons dished by Oletshot. He knows his stuff and mine are running strong, no ping, 87 octane.

Got new tires. Jeep has stock suspension and I fit Bridgestone Dueller A/T Revo P245/70r17. They look awesome and have very little rubbing, only rub when I am backing up quickly, then you can hear it gently rub some plastic. After getting them mounted on the stock rims, I pulled the right front up on a 14-16" boulder in my yard. All three of the other tires were on the ground. The opposite rear was really stuffed in the wheel well and I imagine if I did some hard core offroading, it would rub more than slightly. But I dont, so I love them. My wife, who complained when she saw them next to the stock size tire, even likes them and complimented on how nice they look. Gave it a little more clearance.

The engine still runs like a champ. I am running Purolator Pure One filters, Mobil 1 5w30, and a K&N filter in stock(slightly modified) air box.

I couldn't be happier and would do it again in a minute. I now look around for wranglers with high miles just to dream about doing another, more powerful one. It seems an addiction.

Oh yeah, reading my signature reminded me...I never installed the SplitSecond PSC1-003 Piggyback. The Jeep runs very smooth without and I know my wife wouldn't notice the difference. For all you considering this build, here is my mileage. I just checked a tank the other day of 87 octane. I got 17.25 miles per gallon, all highway. I am happy with this. I am also running bigger tires, which weigh more.

After reading this i'm thinking I need to reset my cam sensor... I also used the spray wand and every so often I get the stumble at idle and occasional stalling. Nice build very similar to mine.

I had to reset my cam sensor one tooth early on, as the CEL kept coming on. None since and my machinist is still in awe at how smooth it idles and how well the computer handles the alterations. obviously, the computer doesn't know it has different injectors, but they match everything else quite well, as it runs like charm. Happy New Year to all.
