I was at the Pull and Pay the other day and I found myself looking at a pair of 1998 dodge neons. I remember reading that they used an injector that might work in my stroker so I pulled 8 of them. Part # 0280155782. They are 12.1 ohm, 242cc/min @ 43.5 psi and 256cc/min @ 49 psi or 24.1lb/hr @ 49psi according to witchhunter.com.
I want to put them in my 2000 WJ with a new 4.6L. Think they will work?

According to the calc on witchhunter.com these are too small and I would need ~30lb/hr. Here are the numbers that I input to the calc.
310 HP.
6 cylinders.
.47 B.S.F.C.
80% max
However, If I decide to believe this I would also have to swallow that the stock injectors that Jeep used are too small by ~ 6lb/hr.
From what I can gather the 0280155782 is just a little bigger than the 0280155784. And the 784 is supposed to have replaced the earlier 703s.
I believe the 782s @~24.5lb/hr or 256.8cc/min @49psi to be the right choice. wish me luck

All the numbers you entered into the injector calculator are realistic except for the 310hp. No wonder you came up with 30lb/hr.

I have no qualms about running higher than 80% duty cycle. That in itself will cut down in the injector "required".

I read something wrong. I thought it came with 295 hp. As it turns out it only came with 195. When I re-enter the data in the calc on witchhunter.com the calc now says I need 20.6lb/hr flow. This means that my stock injectors (22.5lb/hr) are actually big enough, and my truck is running great so I will just leave it. "Don't fix what ain't broke" right?
