Hello everyone, I am from Ohio and will soon be rebuilding my 2000 XJ 4.0 into a mild 4.6 or 4.7 stroker engine. I have already learned a ton of information on this site. My question is that Im still confused as to what type/style/impedance injectors I should use on my build. My best guess from what I have read is to use High impedance 24# injectors with the 4 hols spray pattern. Then I started reading threads talking about EV1 and EV6 and different attachment clip styles etc. I have seen large body injectors and thin bodied ones as well. Thanks for any help you can offer.

I'm running Jeep 53032704AB from a 04-06 4.7L with good luck on my 2000 XJ. Also Bosch 0-280-155-784 from a Neon fit well.

I have three friends with 2001 XJ's running Accel 24lb'ers plus EV1 to EV6 adapters in their strokers with good results. However, it also depends on the build specs of the engine so what works for one vehicle may not necessarily work for another.

Thanks for the replies, what style connector does the stock 4.0 use? EV1 or EV6?

In your case EV6.
