200,000 miles and I am looking for a new one.
Are original torque converters available?
What are decent aftermarket/rebuilt torque converters?
Are any better than the others?

this is something I couldnt find much info on, my buddy apparently found some references to there being three different TQCV that come infront of the aw4. I tried looking for this same reference to no avail.
I have no idea what the stall speed of the stock ones are. or if there really are three diferent ones

does anyone build a nice low stall converter for us stroked guys with different than stock torque curves.

A while back on the yahoo strokers group someone had a few higher stall converters made. I thought I had notes on it, but couldn't find them. However, I don't think you want a lower stall speed.

low stall speed means its engaged at a lower rpm right?
for an auto crawler i would think that a lower engagement would mean your on the accellorator less to make the trans pull?
