Does it stall when you are off the pedal? Or when you are on the pedal at a constant point?

well at idle your foot is off the petal. it will stall , but starts back up. driving down the road its a even speed . not increasing speed but not decreasing speed. even speed. it try to stall ,but its like it stalls but picks back up .

If the throttle is open and it stalls its not the IAC. Spark or fuel. How old is your coil and have you checked fuel pressure when this happens?

Is it a sputter and die or a quick cut off.

i have a new Screamin' Demon Coil and DUI 4.0 LiveWires and Firepower Cap and Rotor. buy them when i build the stroker 4 months ago. as the fuel pressures goes am running 44 psi. i have the Hesco adjustable fuel pressure regulator. i haven't checked it running down the road. guess i need to hook up a fuel pressure gauge. i have change out the fuel pump a year ago but it was the cheap one at advance auto parts. thanks!!

well i checked the fuel pressures as i was driving down the road it runs about 44 psi . when the jeep stalls it stay around 40 to 44 psi. i did notice went it stalls out it wont start back . you have to turn the key off and back on then it will start right back up. seem like it all started went i put a alternator on the jeep. i had the OEM one on there but it was a 90 amp i was needing a high amp one . so i went to the junk yard on buy a 160 amp off of a 1997 grand Cherokee limited. i had it check before i put it on. they said it was good . so i put it on and it seam it work good 14.03 volts. do you think that could be causing the problem i am having???? :brickwall:

I don't think the alt is the issue. Typically your voltage will drop very low first from a bad alt before cut off. I wouldn't completely eliminate it though. I would throw the stock one back on and see if it happens.

If you still have your old stock coil and it was good before you removed it, I suggest you reinstall it and see if the problem goes away. It's just possible that your nearly new Screamin' Demon Coil is no longer screaming, and I wouldn't rule out the possibility of your new crank sensor being a dud either. Try the coil first.

you think it could be bad . i paid 174. for coil ,wires , cap , roto button. i hope it would last longer than 2000 miles. what kind of coil do you use? The coil you get at advance auto and auto zone are junk . they only last about a year. i have no luck with those.

That's weird, I wouldn't think that the alternator would cause the symptoms that you were having.
