Radiators???

Post by mudweiser »

Just curious if a radiator made for a 91-01 cherokee would mount up on the front clip of my 87 cherokee?
Im in the process of building a 4.6 stroker and would like to upgrade the cooling system from the garbage closed cooling
System that came stock on the 87's

I dont mind bending new hose if i have too, I just want to make sure the radiator will mount up before i drop some coin on a decent one

Thanks!!'

Depending on who you talk to about open vs closed you will get a different answer. The closed system is great, but aftermarket bottles \ caps are what kill you.

Regardless, you can use a 91+ no problem.. just have to make sure you setup the over flow and hoses etc.
If it feels right, then STROKE it!
You're lucky that hundred shot of CAPS LOCK didn't blow the welds on the forum!!

Renix standard bottle with a 703-1396 cap from Napa works great FWIW.
