This spot works for me. Use a 1/8 npt. tee. I always keep a small analog oil pressure gauge mounted on the motor.....The dash gauge/senders can be erratic/inaccurate at times. This one's been there for 4 years.
Closeup..

Quoting 6time because he has exactly what I want to do...however I'm not sure how to do it
Can anyone explain?

You just need to get a 1/8 inch npt(pipe thread) tee.Take the stock sender out and put it in one of the female sides and screw the gauge into the other female side.

So basically a 1/8 npt from Home Depot will work? Cool beans I'll be adding this onto my motor. Seems like the perfect way to check actual oil pressure!

Got everything awaiting gauge. Went with one stated on Harley's I guess off ebay. Liquid filled, good for 100 psi. Had to use 4 fittings to make it work properly since the gauge is 1/4" not, while stock stuff is all 1/8". But I'm happy looks good, happy to tell actually oil pressure with it. Now maybe a actual coolant tempt gauge

Fixed actually. Used a 1/8-1/8 npt adapter into a 1/8 npt t fitting. Stock oil pressure sensor was then threaded in & Gauge was 1/8 npt not 1/4 npt so it also threaded right in. Perfect little setup for a accurate oil pressure gauge.

Nice setup. I ran mine off a 1 foot flex grease gun hose so the gauge wouldnt shake and vibrate too much. Mine is not liquid filled
