I have 1998 xj and was looking to install a map sensor adjuster. I need to find a 12v location to hook into that is switched for the adjusted voltage source under the hood . Anybody have any ideas on where to tap into?

How about the asd relay in the power distrubition center?
Might be a bit noisy cause of the coil but.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have been busy and didn't get back to update . I have located an ignition on only 12v feed, the wire that feeds the low brake sensor. The wire runs in the perfect spot in close to the proximity of the map sensor so I don' t need to run a mile of wire. I think that it is ok to tap into that circuit , anybody has any more feedback I would appreciate it.

That would be my suggestion as well.

That sounds like a good idea. I don't think its hot with the engine off so it should be ideal. BTW its not a low brake fluid sensor, but a pressure differential sensor between the front and rear brake systems. When there is a great loss of pressure in either systems the shuttle valve moves and trips the sensor switch.
