comp cams 231, 232 valve springs?

Post by Fringeless »

Im in the process of building a stroker. I have sourced all of my parts except for valvetrain. Im running KB 944s+.030"/4.0rods,.043" headgasket/.000 deck height, scat crank, 7120 HO head. @4600 elev. My big effen Q is if I use the comp 231 or 232 cams, are there any other choices for valve spring other than comp cams. I have read some where about mopar springs, and somewhere else that the springs offered by comp dont fit to IIRC? What choices do I have for springs when utilizing stock retainers?

Your best choice is the Mopar Performance 5249464 springs, 4452032 retainers, & 4529218 keepers (assuming single groove valve stems).
