So, what I have now:
WJ 4.0 engine (got fo free
well, almost fo free, but with a cracked piston, but "He's alive!" (c)) - 0$
232 crank from Crankshaft supply - $523,28 (with shipment)
Waiting for pistons (Keith Black)... Expected shipping day - 23.10
(from summit) - $218.97 (+$40.99 Ring + 70$ shipment)
Also I've got
- AW4 tranny - ~200$
- Dana44
as a gift from the Siberian jeepers
- Propane conversion
It is difficult to build a stroker in Russia, have to wait for delivery of parts from the United States
And....
winter's comming!
I plan to finish the block works for winter and then start head ana intake\exhaust works. Transmission can wait until the summer. I will try to keep up to date with my progress at the same time remember the written English

Sorry to say, in Russia Jeep is common word for many 4wd cars
(any nonsense like toyota, mitsubishi, land\range rover, suzuki and crossovers
) Jeeps rare car. Also people find criminal jeep (90's Russian mafia car)
Jeepers say: Not every off-road vehicle called Jeep. Each Jeep - off-road vehicle (wordplay).
Haveing Jeep in Russia imposes on it certain consequences
We called it KOLHOZ (it means the use of available parts instead of the required).
BUT!!! All Russian jeeper very friendly
Jeeper will not leave jeeper in trouble
I know people, who building 4.5 - 4.6 strokers, but I don't know about any live stroker (parts parts parts, no parts in Russia). And nowbody building WJ stroker.
P.s. sorry for my english, I have no practice for a three years

I assume you are putting the AW4 in the WJ?
I expect to see some dash cam footage when done!

Crank will simulate engine....
I have dust cover from 42RE with engine mark
openings match
Converter openings not match
Crank position sensor - right place
No mechanical problems to swap aw4. Only electrikal
Should marry wj's ECU with AW4's TCU.
Also ECU takes the headache to stroker. But this problem I'll try to solve with secu 3t ignition module

And... We still online
At she moment
Some port works... Use 7120 head
Pretty good
Valves. SBC 1.94 intake, 1.5 exhaust
Is it hard to find workshop in Moscow? It's real hard....
Not the tipical order... ~250$ head works... Expensive.
But I found a cheap way to get spare parts from the US
Lot of work done. Even more needs to be done
Drive stock with proud look
