Sorry to say, in Russia Jeep is common word for many 4wd cars  (any nonsense like toyota, mitsubishi, land\range rover, suzuki and crossovers :brickwall: ) Jeeps rare car. Also people find criminal jeep (90's Russian mafia car) :D Jeepers say: Not every off-road vehicle called Jeep. Each Jeep - off-road vehicle (wordplay).
Haveing Jeep in Russia imposes on it certain consequences :D We called it KOLHOZ (it means the use of available parts instead of the required).

BUT!!! All Russian jeeper very friendly    Jeeper will not leave jeeper in trouble
I know people, who building 4.5 - 4.6 strokers, but I don't know about any live stroker (parts parts parts, no parts in Russia). And nowbody building WJ stroker.

P.s. sorry for my english, I have no practice for a three years

I assume you are putting the AW4 in the WJ?

I expect to see some dash cam footage when done!

I have dust cover from 42RE with engine mark :D

Converter openings not match

Crank position sensor - right place

No mechanical problems to swap aw4. Only electrikal :frustrated: Should marry wj's ECU with AW4's TCU.

Also ECU takes the headache to stroker. But this problem I'll try to solve with secu 3t ignition module

 aaaand hello again!

Sow, I have a 32 days vacation. And almost 2 weeks I work hard. I bought sand blast gun to clean rust (clean half of floor of cabin, and paint it with bedliner). Also I bought new full Al radiator from summitracing.

Image

...and welded mount bracket

Image

Image

Image

It carries both engine and AC radiators. New one have as same dimencions as AC radiator and all design fits easily on a regular place.

I sold my AW4 and bought manual tranny AX15 :hrhr:

Image

Today I began to disassemble engine (I need only to remove pulley, have no tool for it). I have almost all the parts for assembly short block (need HD oil an water pumps).
Not easy to remove head... grinder helped me.

Image

Image

Engine and head in good condition, but 6th piston cracked.

Image

Image

Image

Compressor...

Image

Juice...

Image

2 weeks, work for 6-8 hours. All this led...

Image

to a full annihilation in the garage :deadhorse:

P.s. I have maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany interesting things :hrhr:

And... We still online

At she moment

Some port works... Use 7120 head

Image

Pretty good

Valves. SBC 1.94 intake, 1.5 exhaust

Image

Is it hard to find workshop in Moscow? It's real hard....

Image

Not the tipical order... ~250$ head works... Expensive.

But I found a cheap way to get spare parts from the US

Image

Lot of work done. Even more needs to be done  :brickwall:

Drive stock with proud look

Are Jeeps considered rare in Russia?
