I'm in the market to build on my 05 tj 4liter. I'm going to do a turbo set up but on a stock bore/stroke. In the next few years I'm going to build a stroker but I like doing things in stages, keeps me always wanting more. I don't mind doing a cam kit I'm just trying to get some feedback. I only use my jeep for dunes/trails/rocks. 505,comp,crower? I've never touched my 4.0 besides bolt ons. So before I continue with my turbo I'm wanting to get a cam and have small head work. Any suggestions?

At this stage I suggest you just bolt the turbo onto your existing stock engine, enjoy the benefits, and when the time comes to build it into a stroker, crack the engine open and replace the cam while doing the port work on the head.

I completely agree I should just do it when I stroke it. I was wanting to build that next winter. What cam are you running in your stroker?
