my first 4.0 was a renix with close to 300k miles in my 87 Cherokee and nothing done to the motor.i installed a nos style dry set up jetted at a 75hp and never had any issues.i prolly sprayed 35 bottles through the motor.that was back in 2001.i have been spraying my 96 since 02 with no problem .in 08 I finally built a stroker with forged pistons.

I have been using a nitrous works wet kit since 04 jetted at 100hp. your zex kit should work great.

I just run a wet kit, and 93, never had to touch timing or plugs.

how long do you spray for or do you just tighten your seatbelt and go all out?

I run it from 1880-2500, depending on how hard I launch, clear to 120+mph. I spray right off the line. And if its a big race, Ill stall 2500, spray on the drop, and hold the spray through to 5250.
only have had one backfire, and it happened when I was running to rich, luckily I have a VERY nonrestrictive intake, so it just shot flames back out the TB. It happened by being at high speed, high rpm, and let off the throttle before the I let off the spray.
other than that one time, no other issues, and I have over 1,500lbs of N20 through this motor already.

I just either run the OEM coppers, or I normally run the NGK. Ive always had the best luck with the ngks, and while I should step mine back, I havent even went to a colder plug yet
