Really don’t know what else to look for at this point , here’s the issue ... 2006 Rubicon
Just installed an atk 4.7 stroker (previously had a 4.5) engine fired first crank, ran it for 20 min 2000ish rpm to break in cam , revved the engine to 3000rpm engine died , and wouldn’t start again . Well after looking at all possibilities reset to tdc reset opda fired right up , but upon revving engine past 3000rpm it kills the engine. gave the opda a bit of a turn (I know it’s a no no ) and it will fire up??? what we found is the cam crank difference goes from 0.5 to 71 degrees on wot
but doesn’t reset the values to 0 after its like the opda is walking but i marked the housing and it does not move . I have tried two brand new opda with new cam sensors one is o.e the other is a doorman aftermarket , as well as two crank sensors one o.e and one napa (yes i also bought the paper spacer and torqued to 60inch pounds )
I miss driving the Jeep it’s been a year since her last trail run please any thoughts would be appreciated
