COMP Cam says 68-231-4 will not work on 1997 fuel injection

Anyone install this on their fuel injection? 68-231-4? Ray @ Comp Cam says it will not work. I need the 68-232-4

68-231-4 Will work fine with fuel injection.

I did have them send the 232. In route already. They will take 231 back (my dime on shipping). You do custom tunes? If so, PM me.

Ryan tuned mine with a 525 lift 218-228 duration at.050 on 110degree and it idles at 650 in gear and drives better than stock.You just need someone like ryan to tune it properly.

With the 68-231-4 there is no need to have a tune. It can be installed with the factory PCM program with 0 drive ability issues.

What about the low vacuum with the 231? Something about it effects the brakes?

You wont have any problems with vacuum.Even with my cam and the stock tune it was fine.And yes you can run it with the stock tune but the stock tune is just that.You are leaving alot on the table not tuning the pcm for the motor,cam,etc.
