Speaking as someone who buys and sells on Ebay all the time. He may very well have been temporarily suspended for any number of reasons.

Continue to be polite and try to give the guy the benefit of the doubt until he either says outright that he's ripping you off or he confirms it by not responding for a significant amount of time. Two weeks at the bare minimum... If you're past that point by 3 weeks you should file an "item not recieved" dispute. which will get the ball rolling with paypal to get you a refund.

A couple months ago I had to file an "Item Not Recieved" on a guy who seemed legit, that I got a smokin deal on a Turbo from, he never responded to me after I paid, so I assumed he didn't like the smokin deal I got. So I waited an appropriate amount of time and emailed him asking if he had shipped yet. Then he turned up NARU'ed (Nolonger A Registered User) so after more than three weeks I filed and got an automatic refund from Paypal. I would have rather had the Turbo.

I'm glad I didn't start insulting him or otherwise acting unprofessional because a week later he emailed to offer it to me again at the same price. He apologized for his dificulties with Ebay and said he would have done the same as I had in getting a refund... By not getting emotional I got a second chance at the smokin deal.

Get his Contact info and Email him outside of Ebay (don't use Ebay's contact button or links) if he's NARU'd I think Ebay wont send email to him. Which is a huge pain in the ass for the other guy (like you or me) who's just trying to figure out what's going on. Anyway Nicely let him know that you noticed he was NARU'ed and that you expect he will still keep his word, but that you would like some assurance, and ask when he expects to ship the TB back.

I'll tell you from personal experience that becoming pushy or rude will only anger the guy with your stuff, and when it comes time for Paypal to review your "dispute" shitty emails will only make you look bad. So stay away from that.

I've been boring the OEM throttle bodies out to 60MM. This keeps the OEM throttle plate. I remove the 4.5 mm 'choke' below the throttle plate to make it 60 MM straight through. Definitely makes a difference in power.

I'm willing to do folks TBs' if they like-- please PM me if interested.

I realize this may be getting into the "for sale" end of things... please do what needs to be done, if it needs to be done.

Here is another email address for him: [email protected]

His name is Craig Thompson. That is all of the info I got from him when I asked him to bore out my Renix TB. I hope this helps.

i just sent him this email.
Craig,

I got your email address from a buddy of mine who had his TB bored by you a while back because your old yahoo address returned my last email. i am no longer able to contact you through eBay because it says your no longer a registered user.

i was hoping you could give me some idea on the status of the TB i sent you about a month back. i included a copy of the eBay sale in the package so it wouldn't get confused with your other customers' packages. the ebay item number was 320218253285.

thanks,
Cory
bolt, thanks for the advise on keeping my cool. it helped while i was writing this email. its a good thing my last email was returned. i dont think my tone was as good, if you can read "tone".

how long should i wait on a reply?

Sounds like hes blowing you off, however if i was going to blow someone off, i wouldnt have even answered the email. The hard thing to understand is that he has YOUR TB, and hes doing it "when he feels like it" or "is not too busy" is that the way you do business??

I would email him back and kindly ask for your TB back, and a refund. Then get it done elsewhere. We all know how a human gets when there busy... they rush. Do you want him to do a rush job on your TB?

yeah that's perfect man, it's hard to keep a level head sometimes. But it's in your own best interest.

You know even if you didn't use paypal (and you should it's free and has built in protections) Ebay still has buyer protection, if it's been a month go ahead and file an "item not received" dispute and let the seller know that you are only doing it to protect yourself. I would file it soon, after 45 or 60 days you can't anymore.

I'm not trying to defend that guy because he's obviously a terrible business man, but do you really think that out of the dozens of TB's he's probably been sent that he covets the one you sent? no he's probably just some lazy slob with no business sense and a "I don't give a crap" attitude.

Perversely enough the MORE you email him (especially if you had gotten all pissed off at him) the less likely he will be to finish his side of the bargain.

Anyway good luck man, that guy is obviously a dope, but don't let it get to you.
