Im a machinist, In training I should say
What is the formula for how much to take off to get a certain dish? I want to dish my pistons out 20CC for use in my 4.5 stroker with a turbo

Each 1cc added to the piston dish volume will reduce the CR by 0.1.

I believe he wants to know how much to cut to get x amount of cc increase.

Oh OK. In that case each 0.010" the dish is made deeper adds 1.15cc to the volume.
