Heres what happened had a 88' with a 4.6 stroker in it. Got rear ended last october and the frame bent in the rear. In february got the 91' drove it for two day temp gauge went out over heatet so bad cracked the head and blew wholes in pistons 1 & 2. So i took the renix block out of my 88' put the 91' flexplate on it and put it back in the 91'. Found another 7120 head and had just a basic valve job done. So everything went well til i realized that there are no studs on the renix block to mount the ignition coil. So i pluged it in and i just let it sit on the motor mount (for now) and grounded out by the same wire of the alternator. So now i have WEAK SPARK and the engine will not fire.
What ive replaced and tested:
Ignition coil
CPS
Maf sensor
TPS
any ideas people?

We need some more information.
When you did the swaps, what electronics did you use?
What distributor did you use? You said you swapped the flexplate, but did you do the distributor also? This could be your problem.
Make sure you are using all 91+ electronics \ flexplate with the 91+ ECU.

Did you get ALL the small ground wires hooked up to a clean and shiny dipstick tube stud?
