Hey guys. Newer to the site but not to jeeps, racing, or turbos. Was curious if you all are using any other fluid in the trans to help with quicker shifting. And are there any alternatives that will basically bolt in place of the ax-15?

Try REDLINE "MTL", the "MT90" is a little to thick, at least when it's cold out!
I'm under the impression that the Mercedes 6spd used in the later Jeep will bolt right in?, if I could find one?, used ones don't seen to exist!??, I'd sure like to give it a try!?

Forgot about the 6 speed. Im going to be running ms so I don't need the cps. How di the 6 speeds compare to the bulletproof ax-15?

Are you looking for a two wheel or four wheel drive version? I'm looking for a two wheel five or six spd, I've read that early 2000 Dakota's I think used the two wheel one but I haven't found any definite confirmation

It is still wheeled every now and then plus at the strip its better launching in 4wd. I have traction issues in 2wdthe even with drag radials. I also read that the nv3550 and the nsg370 have lower 1st gears which isn't good fir racing.

The "NV3550" was in between the AX-15 and the NSG-370 6spd, it'll have to be out of a TJ, the 6spd bellhousing is integral with the case, I don't know what the KJ's use for a manual?, and if they do use a similar trans I wouldn't bet two cents that the Caravan V6 has the AMC bolt pattern on it!

I was also reading and found out that the toyota supra r154 is a good and basicly a bolt in swap. But then I also found out the ax-15 is the r154. Along with the aw4 being almost identical to the bulletproof a430 automatic from toyota.
