crank bolt pitch and diameter

what is the different crank bolt pitches

my stock 4.0 does not fit my 258 crank

As far as I know they are the same. I used a cut down ARP 135-2503 on mine, which is 1/2-20 thread.

If your talking the main crankshaft pulley bolt it is a 1/2 X20 pitch

Pics of it on your. Motor . Looks to be a big arse bolt head?

I don't really have a great pic of it. I only have this one:

It has a 1/2" square drive which is really nice. You don't have to worry about the ratchet falling off.

That's what I was looking for. Digging it! Like I said I thought it was only a dang bolt head, nice to have the 1/2" rachet portion to :cheers:

I like it. Makes degreeing a cam in a lot easier not to have to worry about the ratchet falling off or slipping, especially in a confined space.
