Centering ring on the flywheel flange

I'm trying to order my crank today, but I'm given two options - with a flat flywheel flange or with a centering ring. I've searched all over Jeep Strokers for an answer on this, but can't find one.

It's 2003 WJ and here's a pic of the stock crank

I'm guessing that's a centering ring, but I'm not sure.

I have never heard of this. As far as I know all the 4.2L cranks have the same flange. Given the option I would guess centering ring.

RockAuto has a couple of different reman available. It looks like each company offers two - one with and one without the ring. I guess I'll err on the side of ring - assuming that I can have it machined off if it's not right. (That's also assuming that the ring is what I think it is in that pic). It's the right forging number on both cranks.

ALL '72 and later AMC engines use the centering ring, the change came with the use of the Chrysler transmissions.
