Im sorry guys im new too this site and still barely figuring out this site lol. I have a 89 renix stroker and i have the blue 24lb slim injectors in it cause i didn't mean to order them so they look totally different then my other ones so i tried installing them the work no leaks but a weird fit every time i start my jeep when its cold ill jump in it and start to take off with out letting it warm up and it stutters horribly unless i keep it more than half throttle then it will stop stuttering but if i try to go 1/4 throttle it stutters now if i go start it up and let it warm up for like 10 min i can jump in it and it wont stutter at all but driving highway speeds like 65 if im trying to keep a constant speed it stutters like no other witch keeps me on the gas more so it stops! does anybody got any suggestions on why it would be doing this? could it be those slim injectors or what? Thanks guys!

That's one hell of a long sentence.
It sounds like your injectors are EV6 whereas the injector harness plugs are EV1, so you're probably not getting a proper connection between the two. There's no need to change injectors though. Just get a set of EV6 to EV1 injector adapters from Summit Racing and they should solve your problem.

I think there's a slight difference in the injector plugs. Do you injector harness plugs connect onto the new injectors properly and stay locked in position?

ya they seem to plug right in just find but they are a little short, and i dont use the retaining clips with them the fuel rail keeps them in place.

I think that's the problem and you're not getting proper contact between the injector harness plugs and the injectors. What's the part no. of your injectors? If they're EV6 you'll definitely need the EV6 to EV1 adapters.
