4.5 liter stroker from the netherlands

Post by paulv »

hi guys, my name is Paul and i've just finished restoring my 86 wrangler yj. But we did it a little different..
at first we where planning to build it from scrach.. used parts only..
this is what wheve ended up with:

parts: 4.0 HO block(honed)
4.2 crankshaft 0.010
4.0 pistons (used stock)
4.2 rods (used stock)
4.0 ho head (home porting)
comp cams xtreme camshaft.
Borla header. borla muffler 2,5" electric cutout (summit)
Hei distributor
Offenhauser intake .
v belt Setup
we have used a small 380 cfm carb for the first 1000 mls.( prumium fuel with octane booster) now the car runs on LPG (liquid petroleum gas) with a Impco 425 mixer.
3,55-1 gearing
32" bfg all terrain tires.
it ran very good on petrol, but now on lpg it runns even better!! think where in the 250-260 hp zone..
(we think that the 380 carb was to small..
