How much cyl wall do you get with the 4" bore? I saw a post from HESCO that said the later blocks[year?] were better at surviving a 4" bore due to "oval" shape of cylinder OD with thickest area on thrust side. What is your experience with that? I like the idea of the 4-bore, but unsure of cyl thickness/support.

i had only tested the 87- 90 renix ( never found one thick enough), and the 91-95 blocks ( I think, 5 out of 8 had .120 min). Havent tried the newer ones. The 92 block in my dailly driver with .120 min ( # 1 cyl ) has been raced with 11.5 :1 compression, turboed with 9lbs of boost, and had nitrous dumped to it on a few occasions with no problems. Indivisual results may vary

After I posted that, I thought you may have posted a picture as well (heck, it may have been me that asked for pics back then too  ). I actually looked at a few other posts to see if it I could find it; no luck. If I remember right, it has 3 throttle bodies, mounted side draft, with a common plenum[?]
