BUT, heres the sticker, I have the old RENIX system and my old TB has two sensors like so. . .

 What can i do?

and NO i will NOT be swapping everything over to HO, this has been enough of a headache as it is.

I have all the "upgraded" bolts on people have recommended from the "HP/TQ Gains" thread, and everything has checked out except this.

thanks

The IAC valve (blue) should be a direct fit so undo the two Torx screws holding the IAC valve inside the Renix TB, pull it out, and transfer it to the HO TB.
The other sensor (red) is the TPS. After you remove it from the Renix TB, you'll need to lightly modify the TPS to make it fit properly on the HO TB.

Why not send it back and get the Renix throttle body? Am I missing something here?

The linkage on the auto TB has a connector for the auto trans TV cable bTW.

Sorry for the lack on detail, on this stroker i will be adding all the bolt on upgrades, (- a super  )

7120 head
99+ intake
Bored HO throttle body, fuel rail, bracket
97 power steering pump, no fabrication needed

The IAC sensor is a direct bolt on and i have read and saved a couple different DIY writeups too. It doesnt seem to hard actualy, just gonna take some kagigering.

I was wondering, why cant i just cut and splice in the HO connector in place of the Renix??? THIS seems like a good idea. :rockout:

You definitely need the Renix TPS because the HO TPS has different output voltages and it'll confuse your Renix computer.

Ok, i have been to my favorite specialty hardware store and was pretty much  at, sooo does anybody have a link to a decent writeup on this? I have spent hours on google with a bunch of threads, but few answers. I have a few ideas i would like to try, i just have to carve out the time to sit down and try them.

and are you 100% sure I cant just chop and swap the connectors, cause it would make my life soo much easier.

thanks :D

I already have one of those links saved to my computer, the one about "Performance gains for your ..." as for the other one as i was reading this quote really got my attention "I mean to notch the little bolthead that holds the arm thingy on. Make sure you notch it at the right angle. You'll also have to cut the arm part off." I will have to try this, but i cant believe it could be as easy as notching the head of the bolt, but if it is WOW, i will definately do a clear and picture full writeup of the process, the hardest part will be getting the right angle.

and ya Hesco is out of their freakin mind, 145 bucks, for that! :o Their was a guy selling an adapter from them that he apparently never used for like 75 bucks, it was gone before he even hit the submit button.

I know this thread has a little age on it, but i have since found a way to make an adapter for $1.01 If anyone is interested, i will put a link up so that everybody can see, as promised, i did a nice little writeup with lots of pictures and even a video!
