Now here comes a real hardcore question.......... :wiggle:

Plugs, rotor and cap. How many miles are you folks running your junk ?

Have about 10,000 miles on a DUI cap, rotor and wire. Plus a set of Champion (I think they are) plugs.

Engine runs fine but am curious what mileage you folks are replacing parts.

Hoping the Hesco cam, lifters and a steady diet of Brad Penn is keeping any valvetrain issues at bay. Went light on the springs and have plenty of free coil at max lift. Chamfered the cam bearings when building the engine and run the Hesco HV pump.

After going through a couple bronze gears I swapped in an OEM gear and all seems to be fine.

Factory recommendation was 30,000 on plugs, cap and rotor. 60,000 on wires. At the dealership we starting just replacing the wires at the 30,000 interval since it seemed by disturbing them to replace the other parts they failed soon thereafter or before the 60,000 mile service.
