It's almost always that on a new engine fire-up. We're always so darn sure we got it right and it's not. How do I know that? LOL. How's it run?

took the jeep for a drive last night around the neighborhood, after getting up to speed and coming to a stop it idles way down to the point of almost dying then idles back up to normal and seems alot lower in power then i expected

Give it some time on the low idle at stop issue. The PCM could be simply relearning the idle.

What injectors are you running now?

Keep your existing injectors and just allow more run time for the PCM to adapt.

well it never seemed to be right, lower power then expected, dying when coming to a stop, finally broke down and took the timing cover off just to make sure it wasnt a tooth off, it was perfect, played with the distributor more and it was off a bit, got that as perfect as perfect can be, she smelled rich, checked the plugs and she was rich, really rich, added the map adjuster and turned it down to 3v and has been running great ever since, ive got about 500mi on the motor now with no problems of yet, really enjoying it
