Jeep Strokers

How's it going guys? I'm from Texas (best state out there. ) anyways I'm fairly new to the jeep game,hell I'm only 20yrs old. I've spent most of my time building pro-am drift cars with friends and mostly doing work on import cars. but realized that a fast 2dr sports car is just going to get me into trouble. I've always been very fond of trail driving/rock crawling so one weekend I decided to hop on craigslist and find me a jeep. Found a 1990 2dr XJ with fresh rebuilt axles and a rebuilt transfer case for a good deal. nabbed it up and now I'm on here. good to meet y'all!

Two door xj, you got a rare one. What gears are in there? I like how much of a sleeper Cherokees are

not sure what gears it has, just stock dana 30 front and dana 35 rear. (for now )

Does it have a tow package? Probably has 3.55 years since its an older model.

Is that year a renix fuel injected model? If so, get a larger throttle body from Jeff Leigh in Houston. That made such a difference in my 87 xj. His site is strokedjeeps.com, I believe. He does custom machine work out of his garage and has been a jeep guy for a long time

it doesn't have the tow package so you're probably right.
It's a 4.0 non-H.O. EFI but I'm doing a 4.2 bottom end on it since the motor was shot. thanks for the info. I'll be sure to check that guy out
