Need your input (Selling my toy)

Hey guys,

Been awhile and I don’t mean to drop in a blast the forum, but I’m going to part with my toy and I was hoping I could reach out to you guys for a little input on price.

1988 2dr Cherokee sport. My first car when I turned 15. It’s been babied and will be missed. For the year, it’s extremely clean and has never been mudded or off-road since I have owned/built it. It’s got its few dings and dents, also has some pealing clear coat on the roof that I intend to Rhino Line. Fun little jeep to drive, awesome amount of torque, could smoke the tires if you wanted it to. Fun to hop on small V8 cars or rice rockets at the red light. Runs extremely strong and has less than 5k on the new engine and transfer case. Sad to see it go but have higher priorities right now. Lots of attention to detail put into the engine. Comes with a complete spare dash with OE radio, the project D44 axle which is complete but would need to be reassembled or built up to your specs. I also have a crap ton of parts that I have acquired over the past decade of owning/building this thing.

how much are other cherokees of that year going for? a lot of the mods you have done or added won;t increase the price, unfortunately. but with it being really clean, you can run it way on the high end of the price list and maybe a little bit more and hopefully a jeep person will come along and realize what you have done and get it. otherwise, it might be for sale for a fair amount of time if you list it too high.

(if I had the money) I'd have no problem paying 4k for a cherokee that clean and well built.
