hey to all. i'm new here, and i have a 4.7 with a 8.5/1 comp. ratio. i am running colder plugs and and 93 octane right now. i've been through 2 good stock radiators, and during normal driving conditions, i'm running in the 210-225 range. what kind of radiators are you guys with the hotter motors runnin? what is bigger, but not too big to fit in w/ the factory a.c.?
also, i'm looking at this copper/ brass radiator on ebay:

it specs out almost exactly like this radiator from summit:

The CSF two core is what a lot of people run and BeCool has come out with a completely aluminum one. The CSF is priced like the others.. IIRC I got mine from Jason @ Jeepin.com... or dirk @ dpg offroad. I think Qudratech sells the BeCool for $400.

First of all, how many miles on your stroker? My Hesco stroker ran at about the same temp for the first 400-500 miles. I've been using an aluminum 1-3/8" single core rad now for about three years w. no overheating problems. It flows and cools better than any I've used before, including the various CSF 2 and 3 core models.

I'll have too keep that in mind for the next rad. I looked at it when i went with CSF, but the plastic side tanks threw me off a bit.
