Hi to all! Very reat forum! I come from Italy. I'm new to this forum as a user, but it's some time that I read posts.
To my misfortune, here in Italy all people hold the cars as stock... But I don't want :)
I have a 1995 YJ Wrangler 4.0 HO, with 160.000 miles, painted as General Lee, with full open flow exhaust, new air filter, and a Jet Performance chip.
In my garage I have an Eaton M45 supercharger from a Mini Cooper S., and a fuel pressure regulator by Weber from an old Lancia Delta.
I'm looking possible solutions to add they under my hood...
Anyone of you has never test this supercharger under a Jeep?
For now I have made with CAD system the flange that I'll use to link the outlet port of supercharger to the throttle body;
I have to do a big work I think, to use this on my Jeep.
Thanks to all!

That supercharger came from a car with only a 1.6L engine so it's going to be too small to provide meaningful boost for your 4.0. A supercharger from a 3.8L Ford Thunderbird would be a closer fit but you could consider something totally different like a turbo from a 1990's 3.0L Toyota Supra which also has a straight-six engine.

Also I think so, but Here in Italy it's too difficult to import from US mechanical parts that cost a big amount of bucks, because in our customs there are a 29.5% of tax to pay, and the shipping cost from US to here is very high. So I had to buy a parts that was already in Italy, and I have found the M45.
Elsewhere I already have a big KKK turbine from a 6000cc diesel truck, (two years ago I work as driver) but I think that wrangler work better with supercharger than with turbocharger. Other things with turbocharger I need custom exhaust pipe, and I haven't welding machine to make one.

the m45 is way too small. a friend of mine had the m90 and it was borderline small ,he had to over spin it with a very little pulley to make 7 psi, but then the intake air temps was getting out of control and got too hot, causing detonation and in the end he broke the engine.
your engine have a lot of miles on him i don't think its a good idea. most likely its not gonna live long with force induction

I bought a Supercharger MP90 (new) from ebay by about $700 plus shipping to Spain. Also, I bought a used M90 for a friend by $300 plus shipping.
It is a good time for exchange dollar-euro.

Ok, I understand. I think I'll sell this supercharger if this is too small. Maybe I will buy a complete kit when I've reach the money :)
Elsewhere, I think about to use a KKK turbocharger...

I have to agree that the M45 is going to be too small...

I have built a custom M90 into an 05 Rubicon and it is more then capable of making 8+ psi of boost in stock form the 3.8L Ford M90 is producing 8psi... I will agree that without an intercooler the intake temps get pretty hot but not really an issue, and detonation is not a problem either as long as you get the fuel delivery and injector size correct...
