Has anyone run a Fuel Pressure Gauge in their dash with an isolator? I'd like to try one, but I was curious to see if anyone else has gotten one to work yet. Such as Mallory 29806 0-80psi. I guess the other question is, is it worth it to spend $120 on an isolator + gauge for something that may not be that important?

I personally dont feel the need to monitor the fuel pressure at all times. You running a turbo or something? If not then just check it at the shrader valve at times and then call it good.

x2 Money better spent else where like a wide band or oil temp gauge.

Wideband is on the to do list. $200 for Innovate Motorsports Digital MTX Wideband Gauge at Jegs/Summit. Does it work with the stock ECU Silver?

having had both the innovative and AEM units, i would go with the AEM over again. AEM unit is self calibrating where as the innovative has to be manually re-calibrated. PIA imo. also ebay sells new AEM's for $170 shipped.

A wideband sensor has nothing to do with the PCM nor the stock narrow band O2 sensor. You will get a new wideband sensor and a control unit. You need to have a new bung welded in the exhaust. I recommend a unit with external inputs and data logging. That way you can floor it and concentrate on driving then go back and look at the log.

I ask about working with the ECU because both of my O2 sensors were forcibly removed at some point wheelin. I've yet to replace them. I have a plug in the head pipe and plain straight pipe for now, until I get a flat bottom skid route the exhaust properly.
