New source for cylinder porting

having my Alabama cylinder head sent to them for a port and polish and big valves.
havn't seen any of there work first hand but have heard good things about them from v8 guys.

Unless your planing on spending big $$$$$$$ moving the intake and exhaust valve guide closer to each other? I would stick with the stock valve size as it will have less shrouding (breath better)

Cylinder Head Porting

Finding the most available air flow is our main goal with each Cylinder head ported at Dr. J’s performance. We take the time to develop and test the ports on each individual head using all the tools available today. Every head is flow tested on our Superflow 600. And we provide you with before and after flow numbers. We also have the ability to select camshaft and create performance estimates based on your engine combination. Weather your heads are aluminum or cast iron Dr. J’s can get you churpin those gears and pullin brodies. Velocity Probe

The Dr. Air Velocity Probe is used on all of the heads we port. The advantage in using the Velocity probe is that is give us the ability to see where the air is moving fast or slow in the port.

streamlined guide bosses on intake and exhaust
maximized push rod pinch opening
bowls cc'ed
bowls blended to
gasket matched
Before and After flow testing

Bryce welcome to the site, I suspect there will be lots of questions develop. One that has my attention for a while is the flow characteristics of the 0331 head vs. the 7120 castings. I have worked with the 7120's exclusively, but keep looking at the final version of the 0331 and wonder if I am missing the boat. Again welcome to the site.
