I don't know whether the stock one will hold or not, but I have heard Luk clutches are highly recommended.

I got an OE SACHS clutch to run with my stroker, the OE one in my Jeep now has 147K miles on it and has NEVER once offered to slip!?, the AX-15's on the 4.0's use a 10.4" disk, that's V8 territory!

I opted to go with the Centerforce II to go behind my STROKER being installed here shortly.
I have a 4.6L STOKER in my 2000 Jeep Wrangler with 4.5" lift on 35" BFG MT and 4.56:1 gears.

What about SPEC clutches? Like the SD651? I run a high hp SPEC clutch in my mustang and love it. No slip, easy pedal. Anyone ever used one in a Jeep before?

I bought my SACHS clutch from O'Reilly's. My stock clutch measured at 1.5mm thinner than the new one after 150k miles! After seeing that, I was sold. It was only $130! Not only that, O'Reillys has a lifetime warranty on 'em. I'm not anticipating any issues, but if there are, I'll let ya know! Should have everything back in and running by next weekend.
