anyone use the split second afr programmer from splitsec.com? this one : PSC1-003

check it out and tell me what you think about it? i would need to get a wide band o2 to go with it.

I used a psc1-002 for a year or so and liked it. You give it 12v and ground, tap into the cam position sensor output to get the rpm reading and cut the map output to: either use the jeep's map and modify the output or remove the jeep's map and use the built-in Map on the psc(my 002 had the built-in map). My only beef with the psc was that you had to wait 1-2min for the software to write to the unit(not on-the-fly like the AEM I now have). Also, you will be zeroing fuel trims in closed loop(being held to 14.7:1, unlike the AEM, where you can offset the o2 voltages), and then you can dial in whatever afrs in OL(fuel injectors being the limiting factor).

Where would i pick up an AEM? is there a spacific model number i need to look up? did you need a wide band o2 with it? I'm trying to find the best piggyback system i can find and this one sounds a little better.

I got my aem fi/c-6 30-1913 off an ebay seller for $315 shipped. Find out who has the cheapest or a "make offer" and bargain away. The AEM will require tapping the harness for certain signals and cutting wires to interrupt signals, so takes a bit longer to connect.
