Where is everyone finding 24# injectors?

My first stroker build is in full swing. My engine is 90% assembled and almost ready to be installed. I only have one problem, I cannot seem to find 24# injectors anywhere for a reasonable price. I have found 27# injectors here
http://fuelinjectorconnection.com/shop/ ... ductId=202 but I am not sure if I need 27# injectors.
I'm building a 4.6l strocker, so my question is two fold. Where is everyone finding a good deal on 24# injectors? And/OR should I just run the 27# injectors and use a MAP adjuster to turn them down? I'm a noob so all help is appreciated.

I bought six 24 lb/hr ford fuel injectors two years ago on ebay.
I think that on ebay you could find a lot of them and a good price. Summit Racing too can have a good price. I think that 24 lb/hr injectors are the best for a 4.6 stroker.

I found mine in the bed of an F250 at the junk yard, all 8 still in the fuel rail, the emissions sticker said it had the 460 in it, I got them for FREE! cleaned them up and put service kits in them, hopefully being a tightass won't come back to bite me!

Thanks for all the suggestions. It seems that most are not too concerned about buying used injectors. With my little experience, I am unsure of how to tell if a used injector is good or not. Other than obvious problems with the plastic or housing, is there some way to check to make sure they are good?
I'm thinking about one of these sets, any input or advice is welcome.

Thanks again for all the help.

I personally like the last auction with the newer style with 4 holes. Keep in mind that those PSI ratings are usually at 43.5 PSI.

Just be aware that the year break between EV1 and EV6 style connectors is generally '99 and under and '00+.

Please elaborate on that last nugget of information...
I have a 2002 Grand Cherokee 4.0L being STROKED and going into a 2000 Jeep Wrangler. I read these are compatible = same-same.
Am I incorrect in my selection of (8) 0 280 155 849 BOSCH 24# fuel Injectors?

Those 0 280 155 849 injectors are 25.23 @ 43.4 PSI and ~ 26.7 lb at 49psi

I understand this to mean on a 2000 Jeep Wrangler it will be too much fuel flow. Is this correct?

I am leaning toward this set simply because they are new in box. I was just unsure of the extra "A" in the partnumber as compared to Dino's sight that gives a good wright up on available injectors.
Let me ask about the PSI and the MAP adjuster with these ford racing injectors. I am going to be using the stock 94 wrangler ECM and harness for this stroker. If I understand correctly this will mean a stock fuel PSI of 39 PSI. So with 39 PSI how much will these flow? Do I need an adjustable pressure regulator in order to bring up the pressure? What about the MAP adjuster circuit, will this compensate for the difference of 4.5 PSI in order to give a correct AFM? OH and how I do I dial this AFM in using an OBD1 system?
I know, I know, a lot of question. But I'm a noob

and I still need to figure all this out in the next few weeks to get this thing up and running. I have done some board searches but most of the posts I have found are so varied that the I am not sure what information is transferable to my application

. If you experts could help me learn this it would be great

Or at least point me in the right direction of good information.

The Ford Racing blue Cobra 5.0 injectors are rated to flow 24lb/hr at 39psi so that's the flow you'll get at the stock OBD 1 fuel pressure. If your stroker still runs slightly lean with these, there are two easy ways to correct it. One is to increase the injector duty cycle by raising the MAP sensor input voltage (as I did on mine) so the injectors stay open longer. Another is to raise the fuel pressure (AFPR) so that you get a bigger squirt of fuel without altering the duty cycle.
Both methods are only effective in correcting the AFR when the throttle is open more than ~70%. At idle or light throttle cruise/acceleration, the computer stays in closed loop and maintains a 14.7:1 AFR regardless of any changes you make with the fuel pressure or MAP voltage. The only proper way to dial in the AFR is with a wideband O2 sensor.

The ones you bought, Missourian, are good for 00+ cause they have the ev6 connectors. They won't work with 99 and under unless you bought adapters.
