Mean Green holding its own
On my way to work Saturday night, I decided to follow two Acura TSXs(lowered and catbacks were the only mods I could tell) that were moving faster than the rest of the crowd(they'll get nabbed before I will). We come up to a red light and we line up three wide. When the light goes green, I nail it and the one next to me reacted slower and the one in the far lane was on his way to the beltway, so he wasn't trying. I make it to the next light and the beaten TSX turns off right. A convertible 05+ Mustang GT pulls up at the light and the driver is a gentleman in his 60s. The moon is out and the weather is awesome after days of rain. This guy puts his top up, so I'm getting the feeling that he must've saw the run with the tsx and he wants a go. Light turns green and we're side by side through 3 gears, then he lets off. I make it to the next light before him and when he stops, he doesn't even look my way. He takes the right. A convertible 350z pulls up and the older gentlemen asks me what's inside and why I hurt that Mustang guy's feelings. The next section is filled with speed cameras so my fun for the night was done. Not bad for an ole Jeep.
