I changed my oil after 500 miles and when I drained it the oil was brownish and thick like a milkshake. I will check again when I change oil next time, but it just didnt look right to me. I did not build this stroker, I paid to have it done. Should I be worried?

What do you mean by "milkshake"? Usually oil that looks like a milk shake has water in it.

Yeah and if that is indeed the case, it's bad news 'cause the likely cause could be any one of the following:

Leaking head gasket
Warped head
Cracked head
Cracked block

could it have been perhaps excess assembly lube? i know its supposed to dissolve in oil and heat or whatever, but what if it was just ALOT of lube, and it just hadnt been changed afer cam break in or at all since assembly?

Not sure what it was from. Guess I'll have to keep an eye on it.

The first oil change is gonna look different. The assembly lube will change the color of the oil also they could have packed the oil pump with vasoline to get it to prime right off the bat. I wouldn't sweat it though

Yea, they took away my MOLY assembly lube at the machine shop, every one called bitching that half the engine came out with the first oil change!
