The RMS is not the same for 97-03. 99 and earlier use a RMS "wings". Somewhere in 2000 they removed the wings. Which seal and block do you have?

We bought a gasket set from Victor Reinz.
Looks like we got 2 uppers and no lower.
I ordered one that has the "wings" from the local auto store

Slowly but surely she's getting together... Had to sell our 77 Cherokee Chief and now our 68 Kaiser M715 just to cover parts and labor

You received the 00+ if it looks like two uppers. You might also want to make sure you have the right manifold gasket and valve cover gasket. In case you got those from a 00+.

Its a shame you had to sell the two vehicles.

The valve cover is the later because we are keeping the head (0331) and intake from the Apex.
