Max spring pocket/seat cut depth?

Post by SilverXJ »

Whats the max amount anyone has cut out of the spring pocket/seat or the usual amount? I know that you need to cut for Hesco's springs but I don't have a figure on how much needs to be cut out.

What are the spring specs? Will they work with the stock retainers?

I'm asking SilverXJ.
It would be nice to have an alternative spring to use.

Did you decide to cut the spring pockets? I also have the lunati springs/cam and they are coming in a bit to much pressure 135# at 1.65 - so he suggested .125 but in not sure the depth - before hitting the water jacket. .125 will work?
