kieth black 2229 pistons

Post by worthington1 »

hi i am doing a stroker and looking at what pistons i can use with 4.2L rods. I know the kb944 pistons are to big to be used in a 4.0L block with 4.2L rods but what about the kb 945 pistons or the kb 2229 pistons can ethier be used with 4.2L rods in a 4.0L blovck and be the right size?

The KB 944 and 945s are for the longer 4.0 rods, so they'd be way down the hole if you used them on the 4.2 rods. The 2229s are good on the 4.2 rods, but not the 4.0 rods if you are using the 4.2 crank.
