As told to me by the KB Tech on Wednesday: "No one has received a set of the KBs, people claiming otherwise on the different forums are lying. The first batch had some "minor machining issues" and won't be ready to be shipped to the distributors until sometime next(this) week." I don't think anybody will have a set in hand until June. I couldn't wait--I'll have the 825cp30s tomorrow. You can pay Summit $478 for the pistons now and be the first ones to get them. Jeg's tends to be more expensive than Summit, but please ask them and see what they quote them for.

Gradon, thank you for catching my error, swapping the pin height's for the 802/825 and 677 when I posted the FAQ's, If anyone finds a error, please bring it to someone's attention so that corrections can be made. These corrections should be made shortly.

Yeah I was planning on decking the block .025" with the KBs and now it'll be .030" with the 825s. If the pin height was the 1.585" of the 677s, I would deck .035", so having those #'s correct will help people determine the different variables(compression, quench, etc.). I wish there was the dish cc in the Sealed Power catalog instead of dish depth(.116"). Someone posted a few months ago about a magazine article that claimed the 825s/802s had the same 17.5cc dish as the 677s. I wish that is true, as it'll help bring the compression ratio down some--I am kinda in the red on the DCR. I need to get a syringe and measure my current CC volume and should also measure the piston dish volume while I'm at it. Maybe even give federal mogul another call.

I just bought a set of the KB944's. Great looking set at $450 plus shipping. Should start assembling in 2-3 weeks.
