Swaping 258 to 4.0, 4.0 parts to 258 etc!

Yes and No. They do make the belt drive in the pic BUT it's for a BBC. I adapted it to fit my needs. BBC had the closest measurement for the Center to center and readily available belt drive to adapt over. Of course that means an idler is needed.
Danny Bee makes one for the FORD FE that has the same center to center but I did not like it much. Jesel had one in the works for the FORD FE also but at the time it was not done yet.

so what about the cover thats behind the belt drive? that was obviously custom made as well, CNC machined or ? this has been brought up a few times here, and i am wondering now how often its actually been done.

Yes a portion of the work was done CNC and it was finished off on a standard digital readout Bridgeport.

mine is mostly jesel for the belt drive for the jeep
