I’m about to pull the trigger on my first build

I have been digging for weeks and weeks reading over everything I could and I think I have a working list

Fuel -- Propane
Pistons -- IC945 .040 over
Crank -- 12cw
Cam -- COMP 68-232-4
Lifters -- COMP
Rods -- 4.0L
Oil Pump -- Hi vol melling
Lifters – stock
Push Rods -- ???
Head Gasket -- ??? 0.043
Timing Chain – Comp COC3127

Cubic Inches: 281.33
Liters: 4.61
Static Compression Ratio: 10.89:1
Dynamic Compression Ratio: 9.32:1
Quench: .043
Intake Valve Closing Angle: 55

Bearings, freeze plugs, bolts….

I’m looking at local suppliers for what gaskets are available and for what price

Still need to search more or figure out what valves and push rods, I am sure some one has done all the math somewhere and I just need to seek it out.

Looks like you've got things pretty well sussed out. Nice list.

The IC945 / 944

I've sent off a few e-mails but I'm impatient

I'm just starting to dream about building a stroker on propane myself. So far I have an entire 1987 4.2 motor that I got for a case of beer. How is your build going? Anyway, good luck. My adventures are just beginning!
