Jeep Strokers

hi i'm paul from the netherlands and i'm building a "'poor man's stroker" at the moment.

i'm using 4.2 rods/crankshaft and standard 4.0 pistons.

but i'm also using a HEI distributor and a offenhauser intake and a impco 425 lpg mixer/carb ( i think you guys call it natural gas??)
borla header 2,5" comp cams 68-235-4 camshaft.

has anyone done a simular build-up , without the fuell injection??
how much power is this combo gonna make??

Hey,

Sounds like a very interesting build you are doing. I hope you are doing alot of research into this. As you may know that propane is about 110 octane. So you can raise your compression ratio by alot and make up for the difference in power loss vs running regular gas. For the camshaft.. how did you select this cam for your propane build ? I know there are cams ground just for propane for the small block chevy motors. Maybe you can find some input from those people who grind propane cams for SBC's.
