pilot bearing ?

Swaping 258 to 4.0, 4.0 parts to 258 etc!

pilot bearing ?

What are people using for a pilot bearing when they put a 4.2 crank in a 4.0 and are running a ax15? Are you getting a "special" bearing? Please help im stuck at this point! Going to try a bearing shop?

I believe this is what Dino used on his AX15: Crankshaft pilot bearing #53009180AB

BTW, that Mopar part number crosses over to part number fc-69907 at AdvanceAuto. They wanted about $20 at the store but had it listed as $10.98 on their website. I printed a copy of the web page and they honored the price. It worked fine with my '97 TJ AX-15. Here's a link:
