Block clean-up

I was wondering what type of extra block work people are doing. I read in an article a while ago that hesco had some "tricks" they did, but wouldn't share. Anyone have a block prepped by hesco?
Aside from removing the casting flash, I've cleaned up the oil return passage above the cam and the little water passage from the pump to the head( in the front out the top). Mine looked like they forgot to line up before they drilled.
Anyone else have tips/suggestions?
